Sygil (rhymes with "vigil") is a queer childcare provider with over 15 years of experience. They are inspired by child-lead, play based childcare approaches such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Respectful Parenting- all the approaches that question the underlying reason for kids' behaviors with vigorous compassion and are committed to seeing them as whole people. 

Sygil has a wide variety of interests and skills that enrich his childcare capacity- plant medicine ("potions";P), theater, transformative and disability justice, and the effect of trauma on the brain at various developmental stages.  He knows some ASL and is First-Aid/CPR trained.
